Feedback Loop
Starting from the question, “What behaviours do we train, and which behaviours train us?”, Feedback Loop explores the relationship between human behaviour and digital systems. Rather than seeing technology as an autonomous counterpart, the work understands it as a responsive system, one that reflects, reinforces and reproduces patterns, learning from the traces we leave behind.
Thoughts become behaviours, behaviours become habits, and habits become data. In a data driven world, these traces become material for systems to learn from.
What we repeat trains the systems that, in turn, shape our attention, decisions and routines. A continuous cycle of mutual influence emerges.
At its core, the work asks which behaviours we continue to reinforce, and which we might consciously choose to reshape. Because if we train systems, we can also retrain them.
